Our House is full of cozy nooks, work tables, standing desks, and plenty of natural light. Our amenities include Wi-Fi, coffee and tea bar, record player & records, bathroom, garden access, printer, board games, office/art supplies, snacks for sale, refrigeration for food, a lending library, plenty of outlets, and private phone booths.

Our location

A cozy space that's quiet and calm, but central to both Astoria and Ditmars and accessible via the N/W trains. Close to grocery stores, coffee shops, and bodegas.

Join an event

Community gathering is our bread and butter. From hot chocolate nights, to stitching workshops, to classes taught by local artists and activists. Our events are open to everyone in the community, not just our co-working members!

(Our) house rules

Can I host an event at Our House either as myself, an organization, or a business/brand?

Yes! Our House is available for private rentals (see above) – think birthday parties, dinner gatherings, and work meetups — and also available for public/ticketed events hosted by anyone within our community, including businesses and brands. Please email us to inquire.

How can I get into Our House as a member or with a guest pass?

We have a lockbox and when you sign up for a guest pass, you will receive the code. Please make sure to return the key to the lockbox! This will be periodically changed. Every visitor must sign into our guest book.

What if I need to cancel/do you offer refunds?

Day passes are non-refundable. You can cancel your monthly co-working membership at any time, but we cannot refund the month already paid nor refund any unused days. Memberships will be canceled for the following monthly payment cycle. Event tickets can be refunded on a case-by-case basis as designated by the event organizer! Contact the event organizer for details.

What is your drug/alcohol policy?

We strictly do not sell alcohol at Our House at this time. Alcohol is allowed to be brought for private events but not during co-working or community hours. No drug use will be allowed in Our House. Anyone found to be inebriated or disrespectful of the space or others will be asked to leave and may have membership revoked or be barred from future events. Thanks for understanding!

Are dogs allowed?

Friendly dogs are allowed in Our House during community hours and dog-friendly events, not co-working hours. Please make sure to keep them on leash or close by, don't forget outdoor potty breaks, and keep space from guests who don't wish to be disturbed.

Can I tour the space before I sign up for a membership?

Yes! We offer monthly Open House events. Watch our Events Calendar page to see when these will happen.

Do you offer discounted memberships?

If you are in a financial situation that does not allow you to afford a membership at this time, but you would still benefit from co-working, please reach out to us. We will take into account your circumstances, with preference for marginalized communities.

What/when are community hours?

Our community hours are nights and weekends, specifically Monday-Friday 6pm-10pm, and Sat-Sun from 7am-10pm. These are more casual blocks of time where louder events and group gatherings can take place. We also host events during these times, so please check out Events Calendar before you plan your visit.

Are kids allowed?

Kids cannot attend co-working hours. This is first and foremost a space designated for adults, so we can't guarantee we are totally little-proofed. Kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Keep an eye on our Events Calendar for kid-friendly events!

What is your noise policy?

We welcome in-person conversations in the space! However, to respect the focus of other coworkers, please keep any phone or video calls to under 5 minutes in the common space. For longer calls, you can take them in one of our two private phone booths or the garden!
